Rip your CDs into Qija.

Download (.dmg) →

Requires macOS 26 or later. Signed and notarised by Apple.

Why isn't this on the App Store?
Because it's not allowed. App Store sandboxing won't let apps talk to optical drives — so we ship this one ourselves.
How do I install it?
Open the downloaded .dmg, drag Qija CD Ripper into the Applications folder, then eject the disk image. That's it.
macOS asked me to confirm before opening it. Is that OK?
Yes — that prompt is normal for any app downloaded outside the App Store. The app is signed and notarised by Apple, so you can click Open. You won't be asked again.
I want to rip my CDs into Qija.
Well, it's your lucky day.
Does it download artwork and track listings?
It does this for you.
What file types does it output?
AAC, for now. Get in touch if you want something fancier like FLAC — if enough people ask, we'll see what we can do.
