Public beta on TestFlight · iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch

Is it just a music player?
Yes. A really nice one. The social bit isn't a separate app — it's what your friends are listening to, inside the player you're already using.
Can I just use it as a player?
Yes, and free forever. Your own files, your iCloud library, Apple Music in-app via your existing subscription, Deezer for previews. The €2.99/mo is only if you want the social side.
No one I know will be on there yet.
We've got a plan for that. Every account starts with a Circle — a small group you join the app with. Bring three friends, or join someone else's. You're not arriving alone.
What's a Circle?
Three people whose listening you actually care about. Not a payment split, not a family plan. Following beyond your Circle is unlimited.
Can we split payments with friends?
No — the App Store has no mechanism for shared subscriptions, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. But we're based in the Netherlands. Splitting bills is what we do. Every EU country has its own app for settling up — use yours.
What does it cost?
Free as a player. €2.99/month or €24.99/year for the social side. The TestFlight beta is free for everyone while we shake the bugs out.
What if I cancel Qija+?
Everyone in your Circle goes back to Free — including you. Your library, playback and listening history keep working; the social bits switch off for the whole Circle. (Or let one of your Circle take over the subscription.)
iPhone only?
iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch. Same library, same friends, same Circle.
Android? Windows? Web?
Not yet, and honestly not soon. We'd rather make one good thing than four mediocre ones.
Do you respect my privacy?
See the privacy policy. (tl;dr yes.)
What are the terms?
See here. (tl;dr be nice.)
Why Qija?
Qija (pronounced choir) started as an app to play local music files, by two guys in Amsterdam. It got out of hand quickly.
Why are event listings only in the Netherlands?
That's where we started. More countries rolling out — get in touch if you want yours next.
